Yamina Djacta

Ms. Yamina Djacta currently serves as an advisor with the Grace Initiative.  She has an extensive experience in sustainable development both at national and international levels, including in the areas of policy, planning, programme development, management, capacity development, monitoring and evaluation. Ms. Djacta has more than 20 years of professional experience with the United Nations, which began at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).  She then joined UN-Habitat in 1996 at UN-Habitat Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.  She was subsequently reassigned to the UN-Habitat New York Office, where she occupied various positions before being appointed as Director of the Office. She is fluent in English, French and proficient in Spanish and Arabic.
