Maria Rania Liu Goncalves

Maria Rania Liu Goncalves, focuses on sustainable development and justice, through mechanisms of accountability and inclusiveness. She has served on international missions, including the United Nations mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT), the European Union Electoral Observation mission, and on a US Department of Justice project International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program in Timor-Leste.  In Timor, she contributed to promoting tourism with the Ministry of Tourism.  In addition, she serves as an advisor for a law firm based in Lisbon, specializing in intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, industrial designs, copyright and domains.  Further, she is a social media motivational speaker focusing on Timorese audiences. Maria is a co-founder and owner of GoodMixfoods based in Vermont. Maria has a BA from St. Michael's College in Vermont, and her languages include English, Portuguese Tetum, Bahasa Indonesia and Chinese Hakka.
