Laura Arrazola Lievano

Laura Arrazola has extensive experience in peacebuilding and development, particularly in Colombia. As a consultant for the President’s Office in Colombia, she spearheaded the funding and construction of kindergartens in war and poverty-stricken areas of the country as part of the implementation of the peace process between the Colombian government and the FARC. Over the course of more than three years, she managed a pipeline of 30 plus ongoing construction projects and 60 plus total infrastructure projects. Laura oversaw entailed a detailed legal, financial, technical and social analysis of projects. Laura has fostered close relationships with beneficiary communities as well as with key stakeholders including donors, government, state and local entities, international organizations, private companies and civil society. In terms of her academic background, Laura possesses a MBA from IE Business School in Madrid and a MAM (Master in Advanced Management) from Yale School of Management, and BA in Business Administration from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.
