Elizabeth Corredor

Elizabeth has 15 years of social justice and community development experience. She brings with her extensive experience in program development, implementation & evaluation, strategic planning, budgetary planning, staff management and fund raising. Prior to the Grace Initiative, Elizabeth served as the Director of Enforcement at the Fair Housing Rights Center of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Development Manager for Summer Search Philadelphia, and the Regional Director of Housing Programs for The Salvation Army. Furthermore, she is bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

Elizabeth holds an M.A. from the University of Chicago in Latin American Studies where she focused on human rights and violence against women in México. She completed her B.A. in Spanish from Temple University with a minor in Latin American Studies and a certificate in Multi-lingual Business and Governmental Studies. She is currently a doctoral student and research fellow for the Political Science department at Rutgers University. Her current research examines transitional justice, gender violence, human rights regimes and peace building in Colombia. Elizabeth has also traveled extensively throughout Europe and Latin America and makes her way to Colombia every year to visit family and friends.
